Scheduled Maintenance - Cirium Sky API Platform - Monday 20th July Jul 20, 2026 06:30-07:30 UTC

We will be performing maintenance to the new Cirium Sky API platform on Monday, 20th July from 06:30 to 07:30 UTC. During this period, the service will undergo an upgrade to allow Flight Alerts HMAC validation using migrated customers existing appKeys. No extended downtime is expected, but some unavailability of the Alerts service or reduced performance may be experienced during the maintenance window. This maintenance does not affect the Flightstats (Flex) or Laminar Data Hub API services. Please contact our Help Desk if you have any questions.

Resolved - The upstream issue affecting Schedule data ingestion into Sky Warehouse has been resolved, and normal data flow has been restored. Schedule data is now current and available as expected. Investigating - We are currently investigating an upstream issue affecting Schedule data ingestion into the Sky Warehouse, which started on July 17, 2026 at 09:00 UTC and is resulting in stale data. At present, schedule data from July 16 onward is unavailable, with the most recent available data dated July 15.

Our team is actively working to resolve the issue and restore normal data flow. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available. Please contact our Help Desk if you have any questions.

Scheduled - We are updating aircraft manufacturer information across our historical and live aircraft data. As part of this change, a data refresh is required for Tracked Utilization (TU) data in Sky Warehouse.

During the refresh window, Tracked Utilization data may appear temporarily out of date between 09:00 and 11:00 UTC on Tuesday, 14 July while downstream systems are reprocessed.

The refreshed data, including the updated manufacturer information, is expected to be available from 12:00 UTC onwards once processing has completed. During this period, you may notice temporary differences between related datasets as updates propagate through downstream systems.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while these updates are being applied. If you have any questions or are interested in understanding what specific changes are happening, please contact the Cirium Support team.”

Resolved - On Monday, 13th July 2026 from 13:53 UTC to 15:49 UTC, customers experienced HTTP 503 errors when accessing the Historical Flight Status API and no data returned from the Historical Flight Status tool on FlightStats.com. We have addressed the issue and increased the database storage allocation, restoring normal service operation. This incident has been resolved and the service remains stable while we continue to monitor.
